The Boston Seaport

This district has a significant place in American history. The Seaport, which was the site of the Boston Tea Party, continues to pay tribute to its colonial roots. Today, Boston's Seaport District offers some of the city's best attractions, events, and coastal views. Home to pop culture, movie productions, and the finest restaurants and hotels, there are so many reasons to visit!

For those wishing to explore Boston in the near future, we have compiled the following weekend guide: 48 hours in a city that combines world-class cultural offerings, a vibrant food scene, and enough historical intrigue to keep you coming back for more.

Let’s begin!

Starting off, let us discuss where to stay: — The Westin Boston Seaport District. This was our second time visiting The Westin Boston Seaport District, and it didn’t disappoint! In addition to offering a variety of signature wellness programs, Westin Hotels & Resorts offers a variety of concierge services to assist with maintaining your routine. In addition to the renowned Heavenly® Bed, on site recreation opportunities, and nutritious meals, guests can also relax in the hotel's pool & hot tub.The Westin brand goes above and beyond to help you be your finest on the road. Whether you start your mornings with in-room dining or at the onsite Starbucks, you can enjoy a variety of pastries, savory snacks, and your favorite coffee drinks. Find a variety of breakfast and lunch options at Sauciety (the Westin's casual American restaurant), enjoy evenings at Birch Bar for craft drinks, small plates, and an elegant ambiance or enjoy New England fare from M.J. O'Connor's. The hotel is just two blocks from the Seaport District, making it a wonderful option for your weekend adventure in Boston.

  • Start your morning with in-room dining at the Westin with a selection of locally inspired, freshly prepared meals delivered directly to your door (don’t forget to take advantage of the spa-inspired robes provided in your room)

  • Walk out back to Lawn on D and enjoy the open lawn, games, and events featuring live music and concessions, or participate in Seaport Sweat: free outdoor fitness series, yoga, pilates, etc.

  • Lunch at the Legal Seafood Roof Deck

  • Book a beer tour with Cisco, Trillium, Lord Hobo Seaport, or Harpoon or visit Birch Bar at hotel for drinks / light bites between 4-6pm

  • Dinner at Woods Hill (Ranked in 19 best restaurants in Boston by Condé Nast Traveler)
